"Bloody hell!" I hear you cry.

That's right lads and ladies. Two posts in one day. We're too nice to you!

Anyway, hey guys, my names Alex, otherwise known as JeffAndTheWorld/JeffAlex/JeffAlexo/Jeff. Call me what you please! My main job for the Fan Series is writing. I've written two episodes, Method in the Madness, and Morte del Tempo. I've done a small bit of voice acting too, as Man In Corridor in episode one, and General Coco in episode two. I do very little else. I'm a lazy sod! Though apparently, I'm also Second-in-Command. Crazy.

I'm seventeen myself, putting me at third-youngest crew member I believe. However, like my good friend Gayle, just below, I like to think I'M the Doctor, because I bear the greatest resemblance to Mr Matt Smith. And because i'm clever, and cool, and awesome. Just because, really.

As my good friend Gayle also said, we are not dead. Good thing too, or this post would be coming at you from beyond the grave. Today, the 30/12/2010, or perhaps the 12/30/2010, depending on where you live, after about 2 weeks of next to no posts being made on our message board, we've restarted. We have to be careful the Internet doesn't explode, to tell you the truth. So, if we ever were dead, it seems Christmas has given us a much-needed, and healing-miracle-like, kick up the backside. It worked, needless to say.

And, with my final reference to my good friend Gayle below, I too wish you all a very merry messy (late) Christmas, and a marvellous New Year. And it will be marvellous. Doctor Who Series 6, and Doctor Who Fan Series 1. What more could you ask for?!

Yes, we are still alive. Barely.

Hi there,

I'm Gayle and I do a bit of writing, script-editing for the fan series and also run the fan series website (which is need of a much-needed update!).

I'm the eldest of the crew, so I like to think I am the (female) Doctor as I am nearer in age to the Great One than everyone else here (I'm only 878 years younger than the Doctor, give or take a couple of months).

The good news with regards to the Fan Series is that we are still alive. As is with most things, real life gets in the way and things were getting a bit quiet but now that the Christmas Special has aired (and what a christmas treat that was!) some of us have found our motivation to get this series off the ground strengthened.

With a bit of jiggery and pokery with the series and episodes, we will be bringing a fantastic 13-episode serial to you as soon as we possibly can.

As I write this, it is just over a day til the beginning of a new year. So I shall take the opportunity for anyone reading this, to say A Happy New Year to you!

Peace and love.

It's all very exciting!

After God knows how many months of the nothingness in the Void (well, apart the Daleks and the Cybermen and the whatnot), we're finally coming back to life again! Even though progress is going very slowly, people are posting again! The Fan Series forum where we work is at least 1% more lively than it was, say, two or three weeks ago. This means the total percentage of liveliness on the work forum is... uh... let's see, let me do the calculations... 0 + 1= 1... 1%!

Epic.

To you guys this might not be as exciting. You probably care more about the progress and how everything's coming along nicely. Or how it should be coming along nicely. But it's exciting to us. Exciting because because of this little extra percentage of liveliness things are moving along slightly. Yes, I know I repeated 'because' twice, but it makes sense in the sentence. Anyway, the train has started moving again. We've got a few more lines in for Episode 4. I've thrown all my homework into the bin and this has allowed me to get on with editing Episode 2. We only need to keep this sort of thing consistent and lively. And to keep the engines going, the fire needs to keep burning. And to keep the fire burning... you need more coal. Or some form of renewable energy, if you're on of those green people (Martians, I think they're called).

Hello from Christine

Hellooooooo there! Christine here (better known as the Doctor's companion, Alicia)

I hope we still have some fans out there, if so you must be very impatient (as am I!) to finally hear episode 1, but everything needs to be in place first and I am sure the wait will be worth it!

I am a massive DW fan but only got in to it about 18 months ago when I 'accidentally' saw Forest Of The Dead and I thought hang on, this show is AWESOME! I'd seen some Christmas specials and the very first episode but they must have been wearing a perception filter or summat as the genius and majesty of DW completely passed me by! I have made up for lost time since and seen every episode at least 3 times.

Being involved in the Fan Series has been great and long may it continue! (Please don't write Alicia out!!!) Or if they do maybe the next companion will sound oddly familiar :)

Welcome to THE BLOG! Dun-Dun-Dunnnn!

Epic. Isn't it? It's almost as if this is a proper blog. The only thing stopping it from being a proper blog is that this blog is bloggerless. That's right. It is I, Ash, who is writing to you. And I, Ash, have no blogging experience what-so-ever. Therefore I am not a blogger.

Though... now I am. So since after I post this, I'll be a blogger. And this blog won't be blogger-less. Therefore making this a proper blog.

Have I got this right? Could any mathematicians/physicians/both correct my equations if wrong?

Blog + Blogger = Proper Blog

Blog - Proper Blog = - Blogger

Blog = Proper Blog - Blogger

 .
. .   Blogger = Proper Blog - Blog

???

Anyhoo, this is where you'll get posts from us, the peeps over at the Fan Series about progress, episode details, stuff and sometimes (mostly) nonsensical nonsense. Good day to you, ladies and gentlemen. I shall return with a completely mind-blowing post soon. Or not so soon. Or maybe Alex will post something mind-blowing before me, therefore rendering me completely useless.
